With the hostgator plan above, your website is sharing a server with 100 or more other websites all on the same IP address.
With Peer1, your server is yours, you can request as many IP addresses as you like and you don’t have to share resources.
If you are looking for cheap web hosting and don’t want to host a speed test, you should seriously consider wordpress.com – WordPress started off as a blog, but as you can see with this site, it’s evolved into one of the most popular content management systems on the net. With wordpress.com, you can host your website for $15 per year; simply buy your domain, then direct it to WordPress name servers (they explain it all, and it’s easy), and you are on your way.
Once your site starts to get heavy traffic, you can then select a power server or even a dedicated server.
